Megan is a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist who holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology. She enjoys providing quality, evidence-based interventions to children and younger adults (under 30). She has experience working with a wide array of psychological concerns, encompassing trauma and stress related disorders, mood disorders (anxiety, depression) and neurodevelopmental disorders. Throughout her training she has practised across various settings including community-based organisations, educational facilities, private clinics, and correctional centres.

She is passionate about improving clinical outcomes for neurodivergent children and young adults through the provision of neuro affirming evidence based practice (encompassing both assessment and therapeutic realms). She places strong emphasis on building positive therapeutic relationships characterised by compassion, authenticity, warmth and curiosity. She strives to involve stakeholders in clinical provisions in order to obtain best client outcomes and enjoys working collaboratively with other disciplines.

She works with a range of treatment modalities in an eclectic manner including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).

Availability:

Megan works on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
